Solutions Advisor - Legal Technology

Position Overview
As a Solutions Advisor at Thomson Reuters, you will be responsible for:
  • Acting as a subject matter authority for the Legal Technology portfolio, with a primary emphasis on the HighQ platform and Legal Tracker, collaborating with fellow Solutions Advisors to keep all pertinent stakeholders informed of the latest advancements and product strategy.
  • Creating and updating demonstration data and technical materials for the Sales teams, providing training on these resources, and ensuring they are refined and current as needed.
  • Gathering insights from the field and collaborating with Product Management on market entry strategies.
  • Partnering with Sales and Marketing teams to guarantee that our messaging is effectively conveyed and that supporting materials are up to date.
  • Assisting the Sales team in qualifying sales opportunities and conducting technical assessments of the solutions necessary to meet client and customer needs.
  • Supporting the Sales team in articulating the value of the Legal Technology offerings through various formats, including calls, presentations, and both in-person and virtual product demonstrations.
  • Working closely with the Sales team to develop proposals that align solution design with client business needs.
  • Ensuring a superior client experience throughout the sales cycle and delivery process, fostering trusted advisor relationships with client stakeholders to cultivate champions and advocates.
  • Representing the product at industry conferences and other significant events.
Candidate Profile:

To excel as our Solutions Advisor, you will likely possess:
  • Experience in Enterprise/SaaS Sales; familiarity with Legal technology products (especially HighQ) is a plus.
  • A background in law, whether as a legal practitioner or in legal operations, project management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Dynamic presentation skills and the ability to think on your feet, with the personal presence to inspire confidence in Thomson Reuters and our offerings.
  • A customer-centric mindset with strong negotiation, complex problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and the capability to collaborate across various teams within the organization.
  • Ability to thrive in an agile environment, adapting to changing circumstances with ease.
  • Strong teamwork, collaboration, and relationship-building skills across multiple functions and organizational levels to create joint solutions.
