About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Multi-Trades Person to join our dynamic maintenance team at The Hyde Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to damp and mould remediation, as well as general maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation and Treatment: Wash and clean affected surfaces within customer's homes, and treat damp and mould with specified mould treatments.
  • Minor Repair Works: Carry out minor repair works, including applying plaster to walls and ceilings and conducting repairs as needed.
  • General Maintenance: Address general maintenance issues, including painting, tiling, and other tasks as required.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to customers.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience working with damp and mould, as well as general maintenance.
  • Skills: Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools, knowledge of trade-specific techniques, materials, and safety protocols, and a painting & decorating trade qualification is advantageous.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, strong problem-solving and communication skills, physical fitness, and the ability to perform manual labour.
