Position Overview

We are collaborating with a significant Academy Trust that operates multiple educational institutions. The Trust is looking to hire a Site Supervisor/Caretaker to oversee operations across various locations. This role involves a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, divided between two schools.

Role Responsibilities

The Site Supervisor/Caretaker plays a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and security of school facilities. Key responsibilities include:
  • Conducting regular maintenance and repairs of school buildings.
  • Managing grounds maintenance and ensuring a safe outdoor environment.
  • Performing health and safety assessments to comply with regulations.
  • Monitoring security systems and ensuring the safety of the premises.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the facilities.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Previous experience in a caretaker or site supervision role.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Relevant qualifications in maintenance or building services.
  • A valid driver's license and access to personal transportation.
  • The ability to work effectively across multiple sites.
  • Flexibility to work within the hours of 7 am to 7 pm.
