Job Title: Registration Service Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registration Service Officer to join our team at Dundee City Council. As a key member of our Registrars Office, you will provide exceptional service to the public and support the City Registrar and their team.

About the Role:
  • Work full-time, 37 hours per week, in a dynamic and supportive environment
  • Provide a comprehensive Registration Service to members of the public, using our computerised registration record system
  • Input and amend historical records, ensuring all registration procedures are followed
Key Responsibilities:
  • Be the first point of contact for customers and members of the public, providing specialist administrative and data support
  • Facilitate all customers and members of the public using the Registrars Office
  • Work closely with the City Registrar and their team to provide exceptional service
Requirements:
  • Hold 3 National 4s, including English and Maths
  • Be proficient in the use of computer software, including Excel and Word
  • Have experience of working with customers and providing excellent service
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Will have good organisational, communication and numerical skills
  • Will be able to learn quickly and adapt to new situations
  • Will be able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Will be a team player, able to work with minimum supervision and with a flexible attitude
