Senior Care Assistant Opportunity

An exciting new role has arisen for a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our exceptional care home in Ely, Cambridgeshire. As a key member of our team, you will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers, delivering high-quality care to our residents.

About the Role

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants, working closely with the Deputy Manager to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained. Your key duties will include:

  • Leading and facilitating staff meetings, training, supervision, appraisals, and development activities
  • Administering medication, conducting assessments, and developing care plans
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must hold NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care. We are looking for individuals with previous experience in providing care at a similar level, who are familiar with the safe administration of medication and committed to delivering person-centred care to our residents. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, as well as a genuine desire to work in the care sector.
