Job Title: Building Safety Manager
About the Role:
Enfield Council is seeking a dedicated Building Safety Manager to oversee building safety compliance across its housing properties. The successful candidate will work closely with the Responsible and Accountable Persons to ensure adherence to the Building Safety Act 2022 and Fire Safety Act 2021 regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Safety Case Reports: Oversee the preparation and submission of safety case reports for high-rise buildings, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential safety hazards and ensure that buildings meet regulatory standards.
- Provide Expert Technical Knowledge: Provide expert technical guidance to the Responsible and Accountable Persons on building safety matters.
Requirements:
- Previous Experience: The successful candidate will have previous experience in social housing and building safety, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Technical Knowledge: The candidate will possess excellent technical knowledge of building safety regulations and standards.
