Accounting and Bookkeeping Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented accounting professional to join our team at Small Batch Coffee Roasters. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing all bookkeeping tasks for our roastery and cafe operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow
  • Process purchase ledger, including payment runs and invoicing
  • Accurately record and reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Support the Finance Manager with month-end tasks and management accounts
  • Provide administrative support, including email management and phone calls

Requirements:

  • AAT qualified or in final year
  • Minimum 5 years accounts experience
  • Ideal experience with Xero

Working Arrangements:

This is a part-time role, working 25-30 hours per week across 5 days. The office is based in Portslade, and the salary is up to £30k pro rata.
