RAMP (Repair and Maintenance Plans) is an exciting, innovative and forward-thinking business that provides a range of automotive Repair and Maintenance Plans throughout the UK.
Due to rapid business growth, we are currently looking for brand new talent for our Technical Department. The successful candidate will possess strong automotive industry knowledge and be a qualified Level 3 Vehicle Technician.
The Technical Advisor will be responsible for claim evaluation, authorisation, and a number of additional claim handling related requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate claims submitted from the authorised repair network before authorising, to ensure technical and financial accuracy while adhering to all T&C's and company policies and procedures.
- Request any relevant documentation in support of claim justification.
- Ensure the repair work scopes are carried out and claimed correctly.
- Maintain detailed records of claim processing and customer interactions while ensuring data accuracy and integrity within all claim systems.
- Assess authorised repair networks performance by monitoring claims and report any suspicions to the management.
- Assist in the resolution of claim issues that arise within the authorised repair network and give guidance to resolve.
- Carry out any other relevant duties as requested by management to ensure the effective performance of the Technical Department.
Requirements:
- Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Advanced knowledge of automotive parts and diagnostics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
