Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the college's events calendar, which includes open days, exhibitions, presentations, briefings, performances, and immersive experiences.
  • Manage both small and large-scale events from inception to completion, utilizing strong project management skills.
  • Research and source competitive quotes, identifying the best suppliers and venues based on quality and cost. Collaborate with external partners and venues to ensure optimal service delivery for each event.
  • Plan on-site logistics to enhance guest experiences while strictly adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with communications, marketing, and branding teams to ensure effective promotion of each event. Lead the scheduling and coordination of invitation design, communications, and media relations activities.
  • Create detailed event schedules and brief all relevant teams in advance and on-site to ensure seamless collaboration and successful event execution.
  • Be available to work at events that may occur outside of standard working hours, taking the lead on-site as necessary to ensure successful outcomes and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with and adherence to safeguarding legislation, ensuring best practices are integrated into all operations.
  • Extensive experience in an events role, preferably within the education sector.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively while working with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
