About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our nursery staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons and activities
  • Work with children on a 1:1 basis to provide additional support and guidance
  • Assist with observations and record-keeping to track children's progress
  • Help to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
  • Support the class teacher in setting up and tidying up at the start and end of lessons
Requirements
  • Hold a CACHE level 3 qualification (level 1 and 2 will also be considered)
  • Have experience working with children with special educational needs
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality and discretion
About the School

Our school is a 3-form entry school with a nursery attached to the building. We use the Little Wandle Phonics programme to teach early reading and have been rated Outstanding by Ofsted.
