About the Role

We are in search of a proactive and dynamic individual, a genuine 'doer' who values transparency, collaboration, and teamwork. As a pivotal team member, you will skillfully manage relationships with colleagues and senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment with a clear vision and objectives.

You excel in developing and executing strategic product roadmaps while effectively balancing them with tactical implementation. Your decision-making is grounded in data, ensuring optimal performance and the identification of opportunities. Passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences, you adeptly navigate design-intensive projects, recognizing the significance of phased approaches.

You thrive in collaborative settings, adding value to extensive cross-functional initiatives. With a mindset focused on learning through experimentation, you are unafraid to make informed assumptions and learn from setbacks.

With experience in Agile methodologies, you effortlessly create user stories and acceptance criteria. You are adept at slicing stories vertically. You comprehend the distinctions between product management, project management, scrum mastering, product design, and engineering.

Ideally, you have served as a Product Manager for over 5 years and possess valuable insights from your previous roles.

As a Product Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Planning: You will develop and implement strategic product plans that align with company objectives, customer needs, and market dynamics.
  • Communication: You will inform, educate, persuade, and engage stakeholders at all levels, from technical software engineers to senior leadership.
  • Stakeholder Management: You will build trust and achieve consensus with stakeholders across the digital team, technology partners, and senior executives.
  • Problem-Solving: You will be comfortable navigating ambiguity to identify core issues, analyze data, and propose effective solutions.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: You will manage products through all stages of their lifecycle, from ideation to retirement.
  • Market Analysis: You will quickly familiarize yourself with your new domain through market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: You will utilize data to support your storytelling and decision-making, ensuring measurable outcomes for users.
  • User Experience (UX) Design: You will collaborate with UX professionals and possess a solid understanding of UX principles to advocate for intuitive and user-friendly products.
  • Agile Methodologies: You will have experience working in agile development teams, whether through scrum or kanban.
  • Technical Understanding: You will be able to distinguish between an API and a user interface, possessing basic technical knowledge to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
  • Prioritization: You will have a variety of prioritization frameworks at your disposal, naturally reframing ideas and requests to assess their business value, customer need, and technical feasibility.
  • Team Leadership: While you will not have direct reports, we seek team members from whom we can all learn. What is your unique product management strength?

Who You Will Work With?

You will report to the Product Lead and collaborate with the software development team.

Charlotte Tilbury is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where agile mindsets, a commitment to excellence, and a desire to be part of a global #dreamteam are essential. While we have certain requirements, we value diverse experiences and backgrounds, welcoming applicants who can demonstrate the necessary skills regardless of their level of experience.
