We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 8a Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing a highly specialist psychology service to people accessing our services, including specialist assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, and monitoring of outcomes.
You will work as an autonomous professional within BPS and HCPC guidelines and codes of conduct, and guided by principles and policies or procedures of the service. You will take responsibility for interpreting policies within defined parameters and provide clinical supervision and consultation as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist psychological assessment and treatment to clients with complex mental health needs.
- Work as an autonomous professional within BPS and HCPC guidelines and codes of conduct.
- Provide clinical supervision and consultation as appropriate.
- Take responsibility for interpreting policies within defined parameters.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make recommendations for improvement.
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent accepted by the HCPC for professional registration.
- Additional training in a specialised area of psychological practice, such as a specific therapy approach or working with the mental health needs of older people.
- Registered with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist and evidence of continuing professional development as required by the HCPC.
- Completed training course in clinical supervision.
