Position Overview

First Military Recruitment is collaborating with a distinguished client in search of a Senior Commercial Heating Technician to enhance their team.

Role Responsibilities

As a vital member of the heating maintenance division, your primary duties will encompass:

  • Conducting servicing and repairs on a diverse range of boilers and associated controls within the plant room.
  • Working alongside a skilled team to ensure the effective maintenance and installation of gas appliances and related fittings.
  • Performing repairs within client properties to uphold heating and hot water services, adhering to current industry standards.
Main Duties

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Servicing and general maintenance of gas appliances and central heating systems.
  • Ensuring the security and proper functioning of all plant and equipment, including vehicles and flue gas analysis meters.
  • Completing all necessary certification and documentation in compliance with Data Protection and Information Security regulations.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • All relevant Commercial ACS Gas Qualifications.
  • Certificate of Asbestos Awareness Training.
  • Experience in diagnosing faults on Commercial gas appliances.
  • A valid driving licence.
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Certifications in Energy Efficiency, DAH1, Unvented Hot Water, and WRAS (Water Supply Regulations 1999).
  • Certificate of Training Achievement for Working at Height, Manual Handling, and First Aid (1-Day) or equivalent.
