Quality Engineer Job Description

Westlakes Recruit is seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis in Cumbria. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of our quality systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Utilize Six Sigma and quality engineering tools to drive process improvements and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
  2. Support the enhancement and implementation of quality systems, including internal auditing, document control, and corrective action processes.
  3. Lead continuous improvement projects to improve manufacturing processes and methods, reducing costs and improving efficiency.
  4. Represent quality on cross-functional teams and ensure quality training is performed, completed, and documented.
  5. Maintain project and job quality records and documentation, ensuring compliance with project codes, specifications, drawings, and API/ISO/ASME standards.
