Lead Learning Disabilities Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Psychologist to join our team at All Saints Hospital in Oldham. As a Lead Psychologist, you will play a key role in providing specialist psychological treatment to individuals with complex needs, including those who are deaf or have complex communication needs.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and formulate treatment plans for service users with complex needs
- Design and deliver specialist psychological treatment within mental health care services
- Lead a team of Psychologists and Assistants, providing guidance, support, and supervision
- Participate in multidisciplinary team working and contribute to Clinical Leads and Hospital Governance Meetings
- Support the provision of psychology services in a specified area, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Registration with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist and Charterable status with the British Psychological Society
- Successful completion of a Doctorate level qualification in applied psychology
- Competence in assessing, formulating, and working therapeutically with service users
- Ability to identify and proactively resolve problems and challenges within the service
- Ability to supervise junior members of the team
- Annual salary of £62,533
