Supply Chain and Procurement Coordinator
This position offers a valuable opportunity to acquire hands-on training and develop expertise in various facets of the supply chain and procurement sector; overseeing inventory levels, managing incoming and outgoing goods, generating purchase orders, and coordinating distribution while engaging with vendors.
Additionally, the role entails providing support to customers and assisting in the sales administration within the Operations division.
Responsibilities include processing and tracking supplier orders from initiation to delivery, which encompasses creating purchase orders, dispatch documentation, and invoices using the Sage 200 System.
You will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, procuring supplies, following up on orders to ensure timely delivery, and communicating updates to the broader organization and goods receiving operations.
Other administrative tasks may be assigned by the management team, including answering phones and greeting visitors.
Collaborate with the Operations Manager to facilitate the transition of New Product Introductions (NPI) into full-scale production and work alongside internal teams to address manufacturing challenges.
Collect, analyze, summarize, and present data related to production and procurement trends in comprehensive reports.
Ensure accountability for inventory management by conducting regular stock audits and quality assessments.
Assist in the preparation and packaging of goods for clients, which may involve product testing and configuration prior to shipment, as well as scheduling collections.
Support the Operations team in managing Commercial and Proforma Shipping Invoices.
Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and ethical standards, ensuring they are effectively communicated and implemented within the team.
Required qualifications include experience in purchase order processing and/or sales order processing, along with a solid understanding of PC skills and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Software Suite.
