Join Our Team as an HGV Technician

We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team at Volvo Trucks in Aberdeen. As an HGV Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the repair and maintenance of our vehicles to the highest standards.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading manufacturer of commercial vehicles, where you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out repairs and maintenance on HGVs to Volvo's high standards
  • Working on a range of systems, including alternative fuels such as LNG, hybrid, and full electric vehicles
  • Collaborating with our Service & Workshop team to deliver excellent customer service
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A City and Guilds, NVQ3, or equivalent qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
  • Previous experience working on HGVs or completion of an apprenticeship in the HGV industry
  • A basic knowledge of computer software packages, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
