About this Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join our Risk Data Foundations Team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in designing solutions that provide continuous value to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and Develop Cloud Solutions

You'll be responsible for designing and developing cloud-hosted architecture solutions that align with our Data and Technology Strategy and deliver market-leading customer experiences.

Partner with Enterprise Architecture and Service Providers

You'll partner with Enterprise Architecture and service providers to develop and refine architectural solutions, validating technology patterns and assumptions, and evaluating implementation alternatives.

Collaborate with Product Owners and Platform Leads

You'll collaborate with Product Owners, Platform Leads, Enterprise Architects, and Engineers to ensure Risk solutions align to the Data and Technology Strategy.

Leverage Industry Best Practices

You'll leverage industry best practices, frameworks, standards, and policies in creating opportunities and value for our customers.

Champion Quality and Modernised Cloud Hosted Architectures

You'll champion quality and modernised cloud-hosted architectures, ensuring that our solutions are secure, scalable, and meet the needs of our customers.

Requirements

  1. Experience with Cloud Computing

You'll have experience working with and delivering technical designs and solutions for data mesh and warehouse applications, with a strong background in cloud computing (GCP preferred).

Cloud Platform as a Service or Similar Offerings

You'll have experience with Cloud Platform as a Service or similar offerings, and Data Observability principles and tooling.

Re-imagining Legacy Applications

You'll have experience re-imagining legacy applications (Data Stage, SAS) into cloud-hosted (GCP) data mesh, microservices, using GCP/Cloud tooling.

Governance, Risk Management, or Compliance Processes

You'll have experience with governance, Risk Management, or Compliance processes.

Architectural Runways or Solution Architecture Roadmaps

You'll have experience defining architectural runways or solution architecture roadmaps, and influencing and coaching peers, engineers, and senior leaders with vision in the organisation.

Desirable Skills

  1. Cyber Security Architecture Experience

Cyber Security Architecture experience would be beneficial.
