As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate sales information systems, liaising with customers and the sales team, and ensuring the company achieves maximum orders at maximum profit.

Key Responsibilities:

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our sales team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining accurate sales information systems, including tender records, files, and books.
  • Receiving, vetting, and pricing written enquiries, in consultation with the sales manager.
  • Liaising with customers to establish when tenders become live and recording contract clients or engineers and architects.
  • Establishing successful contractors of tenders and obtaining relevant information, including competition price levels of materials required, specification required, start date, and delivery requirements.
  • Liaising with area representatives to share information obtained from contractors.
  • Handling telephone enquiries, receiving and reporting, and processing quotations.
  • Performing specific tasks as directed by the sales manager.
  • Preparing quotations and negotiating for orders on live enquiries, in consultation with the sales manager.
  • Monthly updating of figures, tender/live orders.
  • Liaising with the sales team to identify potential new business opportunities.
  • Promoting the company image and developing good customer/company relationships.
  • Reporting to the sales manager on competitor activity and price levels.
  • Collating all sales market information, including ABI, and following up on these leads.
