Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounting and Assurance Professional to join our team at Macildowie Recruitment and Retention. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert accounting and assurance services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial statements for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships in various sectors.
  • Prepare company and personal tax returns.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Work on-site at client premises from time to time.
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of practice experience.
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or AAT) or qualified by experience.
  • Management accounts experience.
  • Good working knowledge of Xero and Sage.
  • Confidence working with accounts preparation and tax software such as Iris.
  • Audit experience is an advantage but not a requirement.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly motivated and commercially focused.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Skilled at dealing with people and able to support and develop work colleagues.
  • Organized and deadline-driven.
