Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a key role in providing technical expertise and guidance on ground engineering projects, particularly in the infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on infrastructure projects, including tunnels, highways, and rail.
  • Conduct site investigations and desk studies to inform design and construction decisions.
  • Develop and implement geotechnical designs and solutions for complex projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Manage and control budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, with a postgraduate qualification in Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in geotechnical engineering, preferably in a fast-paced consultancy environment.
  • Excellent technical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to manage projects and control budgets, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Chartered status or working towards becoming chartered.
