Production Planner Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our team at Coburg Banks Limited. As a key member of our Planning team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring production plans align with factory capacities and transport requirements, ensuring products reach customers on time and in full.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gain a thorough understanding of all processes on site to enable efficient planning and scheduling
  • Schedule daily work streams to deliver an achievable production and transportation plan, taking into account factory capacities and transport requirements
  • Issue daily, weekly, and monthly production plans, ensuring timely completion and dispatch of products
  • Proactively manage stocks and liaise with relevant departments to resolve any issues
  • Work closely with other departments to plan and successfully launch new product lines, ensuring seamless integration with existing production processes
  • Liaise with production employees and logistics companies to ensure timely completion and dispatch of products
  • Attend cross-functional meetings, deputising for the Planning Manager as required, and feed back to the wider team
Requirements
  • Intermediate MS Excel knowledge, with a willingness to learn new IT systems
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Some background in reporting and analysis would be beneficial
  • Responsible, accountable, and motivated for improvement
  • Self-motivated, confident, and able to work independently
  • A good sense of humour and a flexible approach, with a desire to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
