Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet the spiritual, religious, and pastoral needs of patients, carers, and staff within BCU in accordance with the Spiritual Care Standards.
  • Work as an integral part of the therapeutic teams with direct access to patients and confidential patient information in liaison with other BCU staff.
  • Deliver or facilitate a range of Multi Faith Chaplaincy services across hospital and community-based services.
  • Advise Clinical Pastoral Groups (CPGs) and Locality Teams on the development of Spiritual Care services.

Main Duties

  • Seek out and respond to the spiritual and religious needs of individuals, their carers, and staff across the range of service providers, including hospitals, Localities, and community-based care for Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCU).
  • Work autonomously as a qualified practitioner to meet the spiritual and religious needs of patients, carers, and staff.
