Key Responsibilities- Operational Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the golf course maintenance team, ensuring that all operations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
- Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance and operation of specialist equipment, ensuring that it is properly maintained and calibrated to meet the highest standards.
- Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement effective maintenance plans to ensure that the golf course is presented to the highest standards at all times.
- Pest and Disease Management: Identify and address pest, weed, and disease issues on the golf course, working closely with our agronomist to develop effective control strategies.
- Construction and Development: Assist in the planning and delivery of construction projects, including the installation of new irrigation systems and the renovation of existing facilities.
- Subcontractor Management: Oversee the work of subcontractors, ensuring that they are properly managed and that their work meets the required standards.
- Ad-Hoc Duties: Perform other duties as required to support the smooth operation of the golf course.
- Leadership and Teamwork: Proven leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of staff.
- Systems and Records: Ability to implement and maintain effective systems and records, ensuring that all data is accurate and up-to-date.
