Job Title: Head Greenkeeper

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Greenkeeper to join our team at Mytime Active. As a key member of our golf course maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of greenkeeping and course maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Programme and arrange golf greenkeeping operations
  • Supervise and oversee the setting, operation, and maintenance of specialist golf greenkeeping equipment, mowing equipment, and tractors
  • Keep detailed and accurate records of work completed and maintenance carried out
  • Supervise and motivate team members to achieve high standards of work
  • Identify and address pest, weed, or disease problems and implement cultural or chemical control measures
  • Assist in the surveying, planning, and construction of new greens, tees, and bunkers
  • Oversee the work of third-party contractors and ensure compliance with legislation and Mytime Active's health and safety policy
Requirements:
  • Proven ability to lead and work as a team member in a busy greenkeeping environment
  • Proven ability to implement systems of operation and maintain accurate records
  • Ability to undertake a diverse and demanding workload and deliver high-quality work within specified timescales
  • Experience of operating a variety of grounds maintenance equipment
  • Able to work in a safe manner and take initiative when required
