Our client, a leading machine plant and equipment hire company, is seeking a highly skilled Finance Director to drive their financial growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective cash flow management strategies to ensure the company's financial stability.
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly management accounts to the senior leadership team.
  • Oversee reconciliations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement budgets and forecasting models.
  • Implement and manage good accounts payable practices and systems.
  • Manage expenses and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare and submit group VAT returns.
  • Lead the end-of-year audit process and work closely with auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
  • Manage key insurance cover across the business.
  • Oversee HR and outsourced payroll functions, including benefits administration.
