Job Summary

Assistant Headteacher and SENCo

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate leader to join our team as Assistant Headteacher and SENCo. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to teaching and learning, with a particular focus on supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the school's SEND provision, working closely with staff, families, and external agencies to ensure that all pupils receive the support they need to succeed. They will also be expected to contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and policies, and to play a key role in the leadership of the school.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, committed to working as part of a team, and passionate about children's learning. The ideal candidate will be a talented and creative leader who is able to inspire and motivate others, and who is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our pupils.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the school's SEND provision, working closely with staff, families, and external agencies to ensure that all pupils receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and policies.
  • Play a key role in the leadership of the school.
  • Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.
  • Monitor and support pupils and colleagues.
