About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Development Underwriter to join our team at Instant Underwriting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and managing relationships with brokers, growing existing accounts, and winning new business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and other stakeholders
  • Work closely with our Head of Business Development to identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts
  • Travel to visit brokers and attend conferences to promote our business and champion our brand values
  • Act on individual and team audit results to improve performance and drive personal development
  • Understand and operate within the regulatory framework and identify and escalate any risks to the business

Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in development underwriting insurance
  • Strong relationships-building skills and ability to work with brokers and other stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
