About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter / Joiner to deliver high-quality repairs and maintenance services within social housing properties. You will be responsible for carrying out both responsive and planned works in occupied and void properties, ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient and safe workmanship.
Your duties will encompass a wide range of tasks, including minor plumbing, patch plastering, window/door lock changes, and all aspects of joinery. You will utilize a handheld device to receive and complete assigned tasks, adhering to best practices and safety guidelines.
Participation in the on-call rota is also required.
About You
The ideal candidate will possess a relevant trade City & Guilds qualification and a strong understanding of health and safety regulations. You should have proven experience working in both occupied and void properties, demonstrating a commitment to delivering high-quality repairs on time.
A valid full or automatic UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months is essential as you will be provided with a company vehicle for work use only.
