About the Role
As a Construction Site Manager, you'll play a vital role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of construction projects for Clancy. You'll work closely with the Project Lead to ensure efficient, cost-effective project delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental compliance.
Your Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage and supervise construction teams, including subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to project schedules and specifications.
- Develop and implement comprehensive site plans, resource allocation strategies, and safety protocols.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and challenges, and implement corrective actions to ensure on-time and within-budget completion.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and professional development among team members.
- Maintain meticulous records of project activities, expenditures, and safety performance, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
What We Look For:
We seek a highly motivated and experienced Construction Site Manager with a proven track record in managing complex projects. You'll possess exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Essential Qualifications:
- Significant experience in major civil engineering projects, including highways, utilities, earthworks, drainage, and structures.
- Excellent Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) standards, holding SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
- Strong people management skills, effective team communication, and the ability to manage changes and supply chain relationships.
- An NVQ or equivalent for CSCS, a CSCS card, Temporary Work Supervisor Training, and Confined Spaces certification are required.
- A full UK driving licence is also needed.
