Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Oxfordshire. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for driving line performance, supporting operators, and working closely with the maintenance planning team and production engineering team to prioritize projects and initiatives to increase productivity and mean time between failures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Undertake Preventative Maintenance (PM), Autonomous Maintenance (AM), and breakdown work as required.
  2. Take an active part in planned maintenance and repair of Plant and Equipment.
  3. Be part of the site responsible persons team and support the Fire response team.
  4. Support and drive packing line format change overs and identify improvements to reduce the change over time in future.
  5. Assist, support, and implement Project work when required.
  6. Maintain good levels of housekeeping in all areas.
  7. Active use of SAP to log breakdown data, correctives, and booking parts out of Stores.

Requirements:

  1. Time served apprenticeship in mechanical, electrical discipline, or be multiskilled.
  2. Expectation to become fully multi-skilled.
  3. Minimum of Higher Certificate (HNC) or equivalent qualification in engineering.
  4. Experience and use of SAP maintenance programme.
  5. Demonstrate good understanding of relevant industry standards for Mechanical & Electrical engineering.
  6. As part of a small working group, the successful applicant will be expected to be self-motivated, a team player, flexible, and prepared to take on a range of responsibilities without the need for supervision.
  7. Knowledge of PLC and HMI programming and associated networks would be an advantage.
