We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. The successful candidate will work alongside our qualified Occupational Therapy staff to provide a high-quality clinical service to our patients.
Main Responsibilities- Attend daily unit huddles and planning meetings with the OT team.
- Work alongside education staff to support young people.
- Organise, plan, and run sessions and therapeutic activities.
- Ensure admin duties are completed to a satisfactory manner.
- Be responsible for ordering provisions, resources, and other items for activities.
- Be confident in working in the community, including assessments, shopping, and observations.
- Be creative and comfortable working with young people and adaptable.
- Be interactive, approachable, and dynamic.
- Show initiative.

Person Specification- Fluent in both oral and written English.
- Group work experience or training.

- Facilitating therapeutic groups and individual interventions.
- Working within a team.
