About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our neuro therapy team as a Therapy Technical Instructor. This exciting opportunity will involve working collaboratively with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech and Language Therapists to deliver a high-quality service for neuro patients on the stroke unit and outlying wards.

Main Responsibilities

  • To undertake specific skilled support work to aid the rehabilitation of patients as delegated by the Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Speech and Language Therapist.
  • To accept patients referred by the Multi-disciplinary Team and relay all necessary information to the therapists to allow timely treatment.
  • To work independently, with access to qualified staff if required, and report patient progress on a timely basis.
  • To assist in the administration and clerical duties of the team.
  • To develop and maintain competencies through Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
