Job Title: Catering Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Catering Assistant to join our team at Holroyd Howe. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service provision. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation and serving of meals, maintaining the cleanliness of the front-of-house areas, and providing excellent customer service to our students and staff.

Responsibilities:

* Assist in the preparation and serving of meals, snacks, and hospitality events according to established menus and recipes.
* Maintain the cleanliness of the front-of-house areas, including organizing dishes and utensils.
* Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
* Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies, and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
* Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs.
* Participate in training sessions and meetings related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.

Requirements:

* Ideally have experience working within education catering.
* Have good health and safety knowledge.
* Be flexible with a can-do attitude, customer-focused.
* Be a team player and enjoy succeeding as a team.
* Possess great customer service skills.
* Have a flexible approach to work.
