Financial Analyst - Hybrid or Remote Working Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team at WendyB Ltd. as a permanent role that can be worked hybrid or remote. The successful candidate must live within a 45-minute drive of our Head Office, as occasional attendance is required for training and meetings.

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: £28,000 - £31,000 per annum

As a Financial Analyst, you will be working for a reputable property management company, part of a busy and friendly accounts team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Managing the collection and allocation of Property Service charges for block estates and managed residential apartments.
  2. Preparing and sending statements and payment schedules to property owners and landlords.
  3. Issuing reminders via post and email to ensure timely payments.
  4. Conducting outbound calls to resolve complex queries and arranging repayment schedules.
  5. Allocating payments received and updating financial records.
  6. Initiating legal proceedings through small claims court in cases of non-payment and pursuing through to settlement or judgment.
  7. Maintaining accurate Excel spreadsheets and databases to monitor and track all activity and progress.
  8. Providing support to the wider accounts team during quieter periods, utilizing sales or purchase ledger knowledge and reconciliation skills.

Effective communication is key in this role, requiring good written English skills and the ability to engage confidently with customers, property managers, and other business stakeholders.

Requirements:

We are looking for an experienced professional in debt collection or credit control, with a strong background in financial analysis and management. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Confidence and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong listening and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
