Job Title: Reporting Analyst

The role is to join a forward-thinking organisation where data-driven decisions are at the heart of shaping the future of HR.

We are seeking a highly skilled Reporting Analyst to support their HR team with cutting-edge data analysis and reporting solutions, helping to drive operational efficiency and optimise our HR systems.

As a Reporting Analyst specialising in Microsoft PowerBI and HR data, you will play a pivotal role in transforming complex data into actionable insights.

Your expertise in data analysis, systems optimisation, and advanced Excel skills will help our HR team make informed decisions.

Additionally, knowledge of Excel Macros, VBA, SQL (or similar languages), and SAP would be advantageous in this highly collaborative role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain PowerBI reports and dashboards to visualise HR-related data for key stakeholders.
  • Analyse and interpret large datasets to provide insights that support HR operations, talent management, and workforce planning.
  • Collaborate with HR and IT teams to ensure the optimisation of data systems and processes.
  • Utilise advanced Excel skills (including Macros, VBA) to streamline data analysis and reporting processes.
  • Write SQL queries (or similar) to extract, manipulate, and validate data from multiple sources.
  • Contribute to ongoing system improvements, identifying areas for efficiency and automation.
  • Assist with SAP HR data integration (if applicable) and ensure data accuracy across systems.
  • Support ad-hoc analysis requests from HR and other departments as required.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Reporting Analyst with a strong focus on Microsoft PowerBI.
  • Proficiency in Advanced Microsoft Excel (including Macros, VBA).
  • Experience working with SQL or similar query languages.
  • Prior experience with HR-related data and reporting.
  • Ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of SAP HR or experience working with HR systems (desirable but not essential).
