About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our team at The Ned. As a key member of our kitchen leadership team, you will support our Head Chef in leading our kitchens and ensuring the delivery of exceptional food and service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in leading the kitchen team and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchens.
  • Deputise for the Head Chef in their absence and take charge of kitchen operations.
  • Support with people leadership tasks, including team recruitment, development, and performance management.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Create and maintain a safe and clean kitchen environment.
  • Protect our excellent food safety ratings and audit standards.
Requirements
  • Previous kitchen leadership experience with a proven track record of delivering outstanding food and people management.
  • High standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Organised and detailed manner with impeccable record keeping.
  • Commercial mindset with a focus on delivering excellent financial performance.
  • Creative flare and a passion for providing exceptional food and service.
