About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at the Security Service MI5. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in helping us stay ahead of the curve by evolving our business processes and delivering impact at the heart of national security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Work with stakeholders to refine requirements and develop solutions
  • Use modelling techniques to structure and understand data and convert it into valuable information
  • Identify and measure the impact of change and ensure solutions meet business and user needs
  • Conduct options analysis, contribute to business case development, and work with limited direction to complete tasks
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive individual with experience as a Business Analyst. You will have a strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and techniques, including Waterfall and Agile. You will also have experience of adapting quickly in an ambiguous problem space and applying different methodologies to explore unknowns and test hypotheses.

You will be a good communicator, able to communicate complex matters succinctly and influence people as you work in politically sensitive areas. You will also be motivated and proactive, with the ability to plan for the short and long term.
