Electrical Systems Technician

Job Purpose:
As an Electrical Systems Technician with Correct Contract Services Limited, you will be responsible for carrying out installation, inspection, and testing of all electrical systems. This involves wiring and fault finding of central heating control systems, as well as fault finding, repairing, and replacing door entry and warden call systems. Your primary goal will be to maintain job time frames and quality standards by working efficiently, effectively, and safely with a high-quality finish. You will deliver a high-quality service to clients and their customers, respecting all individuals and meeting challenges presented.

Duties:
Key responsibilities include:

  • Repairing and minor works as needed for installation callbacks or remedial works.
  • Breakdown attendance and response to urgent calls as part of a call-out rota.
  • Clearing each job from the hand-held device and back office system upon completion.
  • Liaising with residents and CCS clients regarding ongoing works.
  • Liaising with all other engineers and staff to ensure targets are reached, organizing plumbing and building works for any installations.

Requirements:
Desirable qualifications include a Gold ECS NVQ level 3 card, 2391 or 2395 & 2394 in testing and inspection. Experience working within the Social Housing market on installation projects and maintenance contracts, including experience directly with residents and clients, is advantageous. Experience in wiring domestic heating systems with the capability to adapt and learn is also required. A clean UK driving license and DBS check will be necessary.
