The Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers, with a preference for electrical expertise, to join our dedicated team at our manufacturing facility in Halifax. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our production processes and ensure continuous uptime.

Your Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair a diverse range of equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently and effectively.
  • Carry out planned maintenance activities to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and environmental regulations.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, ideally with a strong electrical background.
  • Time served apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the IEE 18th Edition wiring regulations.
  • Knowledge of current health and safety practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with colleagues from various departments.
