About the Role

Sue Ryder is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Manorlands Hospice in West Yorkshire. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide individualized support and guidance to patients and their families.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care using evidence-based guidelines
  • Maintaining high standards of care delivery by working collaboratively within regulatory body standards and the Sue Ryder Quality Governance Policy
  • Providing support, leadership appraisal, and supervision to team members as appropriate
  • Acting as an ambassador of Sue Ryder to service users, their relatives, colleagues, and members of the public

About Us

Manorlands Hospice is a Sue Ryder hospice providing specialist care to individuals aged 18 and over living with conditions such as cancer, heart failure, and lung disease. Our care is available to people living in Craven, Airedale, and Wharfedale, as well as central, northern, and western areas of Bradford.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Diploma or Degree in Adult Nursing (UK)
  • Experience with palliative care/nursing

We are open to discussions regarding long and short shifts, including internal rotation covering nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
