Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at ATA Recruitment. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and equipment for the Oil & Gas sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment for the Oil & Gas sector
  • Work with the CAD / Process & Manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of designs
  • Produce calculations including stress, seismic, and fatigue calculations
  • Work to ASME VIII and PD5500 standards depending on the end client's location
  • Carry out hazard analysis, essential safety requirements, and particular material appraisal
  • Design structural steel, pipework, vessels, and other mechanical equipment
Requirements:
  • Experience in the design of pipework, vessels, and structures for the Oil & Gas sector
  • Competent in the production of calculations including stress, seismic, and fatigue
  • Experience in using 2 out of the following software packages - StaadPro, PV Elite, or Caesar II
