We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Buyer to join our team at Colas Ltd. As a Senior Buyer, you will play a crucial role in arranging the supply of products and services, ensuring compliance with our Purchasing process, policy, and supplier commitments and contracts.
Main Responsibilities- Procure materials, plant, sub-contract, and services requirements across all business units.
- Maximize the use of existing and new framework agreements for Colas Limited.
- Support the development and implementation of effective strategic procurement solutions to benefit Colas in terms of process optimization, innovation, and carbon reduction solutions.
- Ensure procurement is carried out in compliance with Colas Limited governance and procurement processes and procedures.
- Proven experience as a buyer or senior buyer in a similar role, preferably within the construction or infrastructure industry.
- Familiarity with Procurement ERP systems (e.g., COUPA, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Excellent negotiation, contract management, and problem-solving skills.
- A competitive salary of £40k-£50k per annum depending on experience.
- Our Colas Pension Scheme has combined contributions of up to 10%.
