We are seeking experienced Minibus Operators to fulfill a permanent, part-time role, working 22.5 hours weekly. Shift schedules typically fall between early morning and late afternoon, Monday to Friday during school terms.

In this position, you will collaborate with a Passenger Assistant, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of clients to designated locations within the area.

This role involves transporting individuals to various day care facilities and educational institutions, making it essential to accommodate passengers' needs while maintaining a strong focus on safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary contact for the Passenger Assistant, facilitating communication among passengers, guardians, and staff. Uphold the safety, welfare, and appropriate behavior of passengers, catering to their emotional and physical requirements. Confirm that the Passenger Assistant is present during all transport activities. Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle, including fueling and cleaning, and promptly report any defects or incidents to the Line Manager. Maintain accurate driving logs for each journey and complete any necessary documentation as required. Adapt working hours to meet service delivery needs. Ensure that all services align with company standards and objectives. Attend mandatory training sessions during designated breaks to comply with contractual obligations.

Required Qualifications:

Valid UK Driving Licence with D1 category entitlement. Prior experience operating passenger-carrying vehicles. Strong geographical knowledge of the area and its surroundings. A reliable and physically fit individual. Proficient in spoken and written English. Ability to adapt activities to meet the evolving needs of clients. Experience working with individuals with complex needs is a plus.
