**We are looking for Passenger Assistants to join our friendly and expanding team based in Rochester. You will be working with one of the UK’s leading school transport services on behalf of the Medway Council.**

Working alongside a minibus driver, you will be responsible for collecting and taking clients to and from specific locations within the Medway area. This role will include transport to and from several day cares and schools, therefore it is important that you are able to support passenger's emotional and physical needs whilst prioritising safety.

**We have the following shifts available working on a full time temp to perm basis**:

- This is a Monday-Friday position.
- The hours are worked on a split shift
- starting at 6:45am/7:00am finishing your morning at 10:00am
- The second half of your shift will start at 14:00pm/14:30pm finishing your day at 17:00pm.

**What’s on offer**:

- **Permanent contract** after your probationary period
- You will be given all the relevant safety training before operating functions on the minibus such as disabled access on the back of the vehicles
- You will be given one route to complete and be familiar with.

**What we need from you**:

- Some experience in caring for children or adults is desirable but not essential
- We need a friendly and dependable face for company.
- This is a customer facing role, so presentation and a good attitude are essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From £10.42 per hour
