Audit and Accounts Senior

Pertemps Network Group is seeking an experienced Audit and Accounts Senior to join their team in Plymouth, Devon, United Kingdom. As an Audit and Accounts Senior, you will be responsible for managing and conducting audit fieldwork for a diverse range of clients, developing strong relationships with those clients, and helping to win new clients for the firm.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and Conduct Audit Fieldwork: Plan, manage, control, and conduct the audit fieldwork for a portfolio of the firm's clients under the direction of the Audit Partners, Directors, and Managers.
- Prepare Financial Statements: Prepare financial statements for non-audit clients.
- Develop and Train Junior Team Members: Responsible for developing and training junior team members.
- Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Build and maintain client relationships.
- Assist in Department Development: Assist the Audit Partners in developing the department, together with proposals for new work.
- Network with Business Communities: Network with the business communities in which our offices and clients are based.
- ACA or ACCA Part Qualified or Qualified: ACA or ACCA part qualified or qualified with a good level of experience of working within an audit and assurance team.
- Knowledge of UK Financial Reporting Standards and International Auditing Standards: Good level of knowledge of UK Financial Reporting Standards and International Auditing Standards.
- Microsoft Excel and Word Competence: Able to develop and operate complex spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel and be competent in Word and Outlook.
- Caseware Audit Software Experience: Experience of Caseware audit software would be an advantage.
- Sage Accounts Software Knowledge: Working knowledge of Sage Accounts software would be an advantage.
