About the Role

Chambers & Partners is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research Manager to join its team. As a key member of the Insight leadership team, you will be responsible for managing a team of up to 9 researchers and overseeing the production of high-quality reports.

Main Responsibilities
  • Report Production and Quality
    • Oversee the production of reports from writing through to delivery
    • Edit reports to ensure high quality and accuracy
    • Monitor the workflow and respond to unforeseen pressures and bottlenecks
  • Team Management
    • Manage a team of up to 9 researchers and maintain a positive and productive team atmosphere
    • Train and develop new starters and existing team members
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and address performance concerns
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborate with other teams, including Marketing, Sales, People, Events, Operations, and Technology
    • Liaise with customers and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of common legal practice areas
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
  • Strong understanding of different cultures and ability to work effectively in a diverse team
