About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Consultant to join our team in the Banking and Markets practice in London. As a key member of our consulting division, you will play a critical role in delivering transformative change for our clients in the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities

As a Principal Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring compliance with KYC regulations and guidelines, including the verification of customer identity and the assessment of risk levels.
  • Defining and documenting processes related to the transfer of securities, including customer onboarding, transaction processing, and dividend distribution.
  • Staying up-to-date with regulatory requirements and ensuring that our clients' processes meet legal standards.
  • Providing training and support to staff involved in the transfer process, emphasizing the importance of KYC and compliance.
  • Identifying potential risks in the transfer process and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborating with compliance, legal, and IT departments to ensure effective integration of KYC processes into our clients' workflows and technology systems.
  • Regularly reviewing and refining processes based on feedback, regulatory changes, and technological advancements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in KYC analysis within the banking or financial sector.
  • Understanding of transfer agency operations and processes.
  • Knowledge and experience of working with Fenergo.
  • A solid understanding of regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamworking skills.
  • A proactive attitude combined with a willingness to succeed and deliver results.
  • ACAMS certification or any other AML certification is a major plus.
