About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Corporate Services and Governance Lawyer to join our dynamic Commercial, Regulatory and Procurement team at NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide contentious and non-contentious legal advice and assistance to the NHS in Wales.
  • Work with supervision to develop and implement commercial law, procurement law, and associated public/administrative law strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including NHS organizations and other public sector bodies.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments, and apply this knowledge to inform legal advice and guidance.

Requirements

  • Law Degree and Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (or equivalent).
  • Qualified with litigation and advocacy rights.
  • Relevant legal knowledge and experience in commercial law, procurement law, and associated public/administrative law.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to undertake further professional development and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
