Quality Assurance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at Alexander Steele in Leeds. As a key member of our technical department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the production of safe and compliant food products.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the business objectives by implementing quality control measures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits of the manufacturing facility to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols.
- Investigate customer complaints and identify root causes to prevent future occurrences.
- Coordinate the sending of samples for laboratory analysis and interpret results to inform quality control decisions.
Requirements:
- Relevant food manufacturing experience and knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends.
